Employers and Recruitment Agencies: Category Sponsorship
Driver hiring in Europe is not one market. A Belgian operator filling a regional CE vacancy and a Polish agency sourcing tanker drivers from outside the EU are solving different problems with different legal constraints, and a category page that treats them as the same audience helps neither. This page sets out how a hiring organisation can present itself here honestly.
FastDriver.eu is the current featured brand. No employer, agency or workforce provider has paid for or approved this page, and appearing on the platform is not a FastDriver endorsement of any hiring organisation.
Organisations that fit this category
- transport and logistics employers hiring directly
- licensed driver recruitment agencies and temporary work agencies
- international sourcing partners and workforce supply companies
- employer of record and payroll outsourcing providers
- warehouse and logistics staffing specialists
Immigration advisers and training providers support the same hiring process but fall into different categories, and a single feature should not attempt to cover all three.
The fair recruitment line
This is the point on which FastDriver is least flexible. Charging a jobseeker a placement fee is prohibited in many jurisdictions and runs counter to the fair recruitment principles now enshrined in the EU Talent Pool framework established by Regulation (EU) 2026/1047, which explicitly bars participating employers and entities from charging jobseekers recruitment fees or undisclosed costs. A feature in this category must state clearly who pays for what. Any suggestion that a candidate pays for placement, or that a fee improves their chances, will not be published.
The Talent Pool is also worth understanding in its own right. It is a voluntary platform for participating Member States that matches vacancies in recognised shortage occupations with jobseekers residing outside the EU, and professional drivers and mechanics are among those shortage occupations. It is a matching route, not a permit, and it does not remove any national immigration requirement.
What candidates and clients want stated plainly
The role itself
Licence category, tachograph and Code 95 status required, ADR classes if relevant, route type, whether nights out are involved and how many, and the vehicle and load being operated.
Pay and conditions
Base pay with the currency and period, how allowances and bonuses are calculated, and what is deducted. Vague salary ranges attract applications and destroy trust during interviews.
Eligibility
Whether the vacancy is open to candidates who need permission to work, and, if so, what support is offered and at whose cost, is ambiguous here; it wastes everyone’s time.
Accommodation and relocation
What is provided, what is charged and on what terms, including what happens if employment ends early.
The process
Who screens, who interviews, who decides, and the realistic timescale from application to start date.
Evidence required before publication
FastDriver reviews each advertiser by hand. For this category, expect to supply the company registration certificate and VAT or tax number, the recruitment or temporary work agency licence where the country of operation requires one, the registered address and an authorised contact, confirmation of which countries the organisation recruits into and from, the data protection basis for handling candidate information, and a written statement that no fee is charged to candidates.
Where an employer-of-record model is used, the copy names the legal employer. Candidates are entitled to know whom they will sign a contract with.
Claims that will not appear
Guaranteed employment, guaranteed visa or work permit approval, guaranteed relocation, guaranteed salary outcomes, or any implication that a government decision can be influenced. FastDriver does not employ drivers, does not issue permits, and does not guarantee placement; a sponsor page in this category is written on the same basis. Automated candidate screening is also an area that warrants careful description: employment-related AI systems fall within the high-risk category under the EU AI Act, with obligations for stand-alone systems now applying from 2 December 2027 following the amendments made by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744.
Formats and disclosure
An employer profile with job promotion, a verified company profile, or country-targeted placement all suit this category. The route is: advertising request, manual verification, format agreement, factual review, publication with a visible label. Paid outbound links use rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow sponsored". If a paid sponsor is later contracted, the disclosure text on this page is replaced with one naming that organisation.
Enquire about the category.
Employers and licensed agencies can ask FastDriver about a future feature. Existing commercial routes may suit you better in the first instance: see the employer plans for direct hiring and the recruiter partnership plans for candidate submission. Bring your licence details, the countries you recruit into and from, and your fee position.
Frequently asked questions
Who can sponsor the Employers and Recruitment category?
Transport and logistics employers hiring directly, licensed driver recruitment and temporary work agencies, international sourcing partners, employer of record and payroll outsourcing providers, and warehouse staffing specialists.
Can a sponsor charge candidates a placement fee?
No. FastDriver will not publish a feature that charges jobseekers for placement or implies that paying improves their chances. Fair recruitment principles, including the fee prohibition written into the EU Talent Pool regulation, are treated as a condition of appearing here.
What is the EU Talent Pool and does it grant permits?
It is a voluntary EU matching platform established by Regulation (EU) 2026/1047 that connects vacancies in recognised shortage occupations, which include professional drivers and mechanics, with jobseekers residing outside the EU. It is a matching route only and does not replace any national immigration requirement.
What licensing evidence is checked?
Company registration and VAT numbers, the recruitment or temporary work agency licence where the operating country requires one, registered address and authorised contact, the countries recruited into and from, the data protection basis for candidate data, and a written statement that candidates are not charged.
Can a feature guarantee employment or a work permit?
No. Guaranteed employment, permit approval, relocation and salary outcomes are not published. FastDriver does not employ drivers, does not issue permits and does not guarantee placement.
How should automated candidate screening be described?
Transparently. Employment-related AI systems are treated as high risk under the EU AI Act, with obligations for stand-alone systems applying from 2 December 2027 after the amendments made by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744. A sponsor using automated screening should say so rather than leave candidates to guess.
Which audience does this category reach?
Professional drivers using FastDriver to find work, plus transport employers and recruitment partners. Reach differs by country and role type, and no application or hire volume is promised.
